Sequential Download / Preview Mode Download in µTorrent

Generally when a torrent starts downloading, it fetches pieces randomly.

BUT, using this tiny trick the pieces can be downloaded sequentially. This helps preview of a video file from the beginning of download. One doesn't have to wait until the entire video file is downloaded.

Required Application : BEncode Editor

1. Open 'BEncode Editor.exe'. Go to File > Open

2. Browse to directory 'C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent' and open the 'settings.dat' file.

3. Click on Add.

4. Add a new key 'bt.sequential_download'. [As: Top | Type: Integer | Value: 1]. Press OK & save the file from 'File > Save'. Then Exit the Editor & restart µTorrent. DONE

Now the same file would be downloaded according to the sequential piece order.

UNDO this Process

1. Open the 'settings.dat' file using the editor similar way.
2. Select the key 'bt.sequential_download' & hit 'Remove'.

3. Then save the file the similar way from 'File > Save'. Exit the editor & restart µTorrent. DONE.

Total BOT(Board of Trade) unit consumed is calculated this very simple way . .

BOT = KWh

NOW,
The electrical energy used in domestic purposes has the wattage rating for example, 60 watt, 100 watt etc. If any device runs for 10 or 12 hours, the total Watt-Hour is calculated.

For Example, if a 99 watt fan runs for 11 Hours the total watt-hour will be ( 99 x 11 ) = 1089 Wh.
Now, as we know BOT unit is nothing but KWh, the total watt-hour is converted into Kilo watt-hour [Watt-hour / 1000 = KWh]
i.e. 1089/1000 = 1.089 KWh. This is the electrical unit spent for this device in 11 hours.

If, the rate of BOT unit is 40 paisa/unit, then, money spent on this device (for running 11 hours) is 1.089 x 40 = 43.56 paisa.


As for my Phobia,

----> 1 BOT or 1 KWh = 1000 Wh

----> BOT or KWh = Wh/1000

These two may look like,
1 BOT = Wh x 1000    &
BOT = Wh / 1000

In the first case, we are writing that Kilo(K) = 1000. And if we are to convert some KWatt-hour value to Watt-hour value, we need to multiply it(KWatt-hour) by 1000. Simple.

In the second case, we are writing that if we are to convert some Watt-hour value to KWatt-hour value we need to divide it(Watt-hour) by 1000. Even more simple.

[ I should clarify this by remembering these exact words, 
1 Kilo-meter = 1000 Meter
=>5 Km = 5x1000 = 5000 mt
Respect to UNIT, We are high, going low, we multiply. 
=>5000 mt = 5000/1000 = 5 Km
If we have the value in Meter, We are low, going high, we divide.

Kilo-Meter = Meter / 1000 
=> JUST relation between units. Nothing more.

Money Bag

two days before the publishment of the S H I T-holic result of my 3rd Sem, I bought a shoe & a money bag from Sreeleathers(Lindsay Street). Both cost 290 INR individually. Yesterday the result came out. I scored 6.89 (point). H O L Y  F * * K.

Tomorrow, there may be a chance of a strike called by 3rd Yr. EE Dept.

I was able to successfully remove the 'burn away' & 'fire' animations from the random animation sets of WindowFX. Found a link on the official website given the instruction.

Just remove the selected *.tra files from the folder 'Scripts' in the installation directory.

due to some stupid scrutiny in college the last period was cancelled. Shovan was on his way 2 college. hearing this good news he went back towards home. I & Kaustav went to Chandni. I wanted to buy a Solder Iron, a Solder, a 3.5 mm Stereo male plug & some wires. but nothing of that happened. Actually I found a 3.5 mm connector but I had to go fetch money to buy it. When I returned, it was already sold 7 the store was out of stock.

Hell of a Party

Just returned home from our 5th Anniversary usual reunion picnic/party from Dibyendu's(Muslim) home. This time we were . .

It is quite impossible to describe the events. However the meat was awesome. Santanu & Sabya & Dibyendu & 'i don't know' who cooked it. During those time I was not there. The dance & continuous struggle to sing a song in the very end before eating was hilarious. It is necessary to mention that Pantu could have been the only reason that we won't have arranged the party. this Extremely lazy Goat, Pantu likewise didn't do anything at all that helped us. The only thing it did discouraged us throughout the whole day. However the party was amazing.

By far the best party to me . .
